We spent a great creative morning making these paper bag easter eggs from You are my fave. The image above is a sample of one of ours. Such a great project for reusing paper bags and would be a perfect treat bag for any occasion. My boys were super excited to have their creations transformed into pouches for CANDY!!
The Toy Maker has a great site with paper projects to print and create. This bunny basket is so simple to make. I punched holes in the top of ours (image above) and added twine for a handle.
Action Pack is such a great resource! They offer an e-magazine packed with recipes, science projects, and crafts. They often feature a smaller version during major holidays and currently they are offering an Easter issue that includes some great Easter ideas like Chinese tea eggs, natural egg dyeing, and some great recipes with tips on how to cook with your child. We’re so excited to try the tea eggs! Coming up in May they are offering their Go Tribal issue including textile crafts, bark painting, totem poles, rainsticks, darts, slings, and arrows. I have not mentioned this to my boys yet (and clearly not until I buy the issue), but I have a pretty good idea what we will be consuming our time in May.
They also have a great list of Freebies on their site to give you a pretty good idea of their style of craft. We especially like the knot tying guide and the waxed origami boats (pictured below).
I hope you enjoy exploring Action Pack as much as we do.
